If you’re a business owner or really anyone looking to build a kickass, modern, clean and professional website - you know that it’s a lot easier thinking about getting it done than it is actually getting it done. How to Achieve Less "Busy-ness" and More Progress

I'll be the first to admit that seeming that we are busy all the time makes us feel like we're being more productive when we actually may not be doing much. I started to realize back when I was in university and later on into real-adulthood how common it was for people around me to be almost bragging about how much they had to do and how stressed out they were and how there just isn't enough time in the day.

A Real-Talk Letter to My Just-Starting-Out-in-Business Self

When we're starting out on a new entrepreneurial pursuit, I think the biggest reality check to arm ourselves with in the beginning is the realization that everything takes time. And lots of it. While, yes, it can be tempting to glamorize our situations and make ourselves believe that WE'RE DIFFERENT WE'RE THE EXCEPTIONS, the large majority of the time, we're going to be fighting the good fight juuuust like the rest of the hard working self-starters who came before us.

You walk into a place, people take a look at you, and then they go back to whatever it is they're doing. And with all of this, I really thought about how it applies to conducting business online, where it's SO easy to head over to our competitors' websites and poke around on what's going on in there. What new business opportunities they might have coming to them (and subsequently focusing on what's not coming to us), what they're talking about in their blog posts (and subsequently remembering that it's been a while since we were in the blogging groove, ourselves).

March Business Recap: B-School, Drunk HerStory, & Gifts from the Universe

I really feel like 2018 is flying by. Like, didn't we just ring in the new year and get back into our daily lives? I had a big France week in February with one of my best friends and already that feels like ages ago. So here we are in March. Love March. March is great. Spring's around the corner - even if it shows little glimpses of itself only to slam the door in our faces and come back in with cold fronts and tons of rain. But so is life - all for the good of the flowers and new life of spring, I suppose.
